Luscious Lamb Chops

4 lamb chops
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 small can of mushrooms (if desired)
1 small onion, chopped (if desired)

In the bottom of a covered baking dish, spread a small layer of cream of mushroom soup. Please lamb chops around the dish. Add salt and pepper to taste. Cover with the onions and mushrooms. Pour the remainder of the mushroom soup over the meat. Bake at 325 degrees for approximately 1-1/2 to 2 hours, or until lamb chops are tender.
I usually mix the cream of mushroom soup with milk or water to make more of a sauce. The soup will take the taste of the lamb chops and form a yummy gravy. It can be served over rice, noodles or potatoes.
